Questions and answers pertaining to Rebel Network :
1. Why do I need to register again? I’ve already registered with the previous Rebel Network.
a. The Rebel Network has been upgraded to provide more benefits to our alumni and friends. We ask that you reregister in order to take advantage of these benefits.
2. How do I know it’s my record?
a. You are required to enter your date of birth in the format of YYYYMMDD
3. Why can’t I use my email address as my user id?
a. Because the field does not accept the @ symbol. Also, with the unique User ID, the same email address can be used for more than one record. For example, and husband and wife can use one email address for both records.
4. Why are my friends not listed anymore?
a. Due to the upgrade, the friends and groups functionality was modified and requires you to invite them again.
5. Will the old web site address take us to the new Rebel Network?
a. Links from the Alumni Association Web site will work. If you had the site bookmarked, it should also still work. If you are having trouble, the address is: http://www.rebelnetwork.olemissalumni.com
6. What does the upgraded Rebel Network offer?
a. Integrated with Facebook with capability to link to your Facebook account
b. User-friendly interface

7. Will I be able to keep my @olemissalumni.com email address? Yes
