Shelia Dossett
Senior Associate Director of Alumni Affairs
Sheila Dossett joined the Alumni Association in 2001 as an advancement associate for the new School of Applied Sciences. In 2008, she was appointed Senior Associate Director of Alumni Affairs. Sheila serves as director of alumni activities for the Schools of Applied Sciences and Education. Her responsibilities include coordinating fund-raising efforts with the deans and maintaining contact with the graduates and friends of those schools. She also assists with general Alumni Association activities and is the advisor for the Student Alumni Council.
Sheila graduated from Ole Miss in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in education, and she spent several years working as Director of District Operations for a statewide non-profit organization before returning to her alma mater. She has two children, Matt (BAccy, 01, MTax, 02) and Sarah Kathryn (BFA 03) and two grandchildren, Elsie James and Lee Tucker. Sheila enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
