Clay Cavett
Associate Director
Clay joined the Alumni staff in 1988 as an Alumni Assistant, coordinating club events and working in other general Association responsibilities. In 1990, he was promoted to Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs for Constituency Relations. In 2000, Clay was given the added responsibility of Major Gifts Officer for the School of Accountancy. In 2005, he was named Associate Director of Alumni Affairs.
Clay’s responsibilities include serving as director of alumni and development activities for the School of Accountancy and the M-Club Alumni Chapter. Chapter responsibilities include coordinating fund-raising efforts with the deans and maintaining contact with the graduates and friends of those schools. He also assisted in fund-raising efforts to renovate the Alumni Center.
Clay graduated from Ole Miss in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. A Jackson, Miss., native, Clay and Laura have two children, John and Madeline.
