Wendy Whitmire
Alumni Records Assistant
Wendy Whitmire joined the Alumni Association in August 2007 as Alumni Records Assistant. Her main duty is to maintain all Alumni and Development Records.
Wendy received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Gender Studies from The University of Mississippi. She also received an Associate of Arts Degree in English from Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas.
While attending college at Ole Miss, she worked in the Sarah Isom Center for Women and Gender Studies as a work-study student. While attending junior college at Trinity Valley, she worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Henderson County District Clerk's Office in Athens, Texas. Wendy is a native of Tyler, Texas and is the oldest of four children. She wishes to pursue a Master's Degree in English in the near future and enjoys reading books and writing children's stories in her spare time.
