Thelma Mays
Receptionist
Thelma Mays joined the Alumni Association team in 1996 as senior secretary and now serves as the receptionist. Born and raised in Hawaii, Thelma came to Mississippi in 1967 and now calls it home.
She has a daughter, Shannon Lovejoy, who works for the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, and two grandchildren, Michael Naron and Ashley Naron (a freshman at Ole Miss). She says one of her proudest moments was seeing Shannon graduate from Ole Miss.
Aside from spending time with her family, Thelma is an avid reader and can usually be found with her nose in a book. Her other interests include sewing and crocheting.
